Excellent! I owned the "Mechalus" & "T'sa" Articles, but now I have the whole thing!
I love it!

I had the Mechalus article and have been waiting for the rest of this for quite some time. Thanks for the great work Jeff and crew.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Neil worked hard to get the people together that got us the articles. Any help we can get on these is always appreciated. And getting to reread these excellent pieces while proofreading them ignites a spark in me to keep going, I have to say.
We're not sure what the next reprint will be, but I'm sure it'll be something cool.
Watch for our next regular issue, coming in the not *too* distant future, too!

I really loved these articles when they first came out in Dragon, but time passed and I lost access to those particular copies. This is great! My only request is to do a similar work up of the Fraal. I was always disgusted that WotC didnt at least complete the series!

Awesome; however, I have to admit there were a few oversights; a couple of those little grey tables weren't finished! If it wasnt for that, I'd have given it full 100.

Grey Knight & Cthulhu,
We would have loved to have fixed those oversights, but they were originally made by the editors of Dragon magazine. We basically had to print what they had already printed, otherwise we would have been making up the additional information. Aside from that, we're glad you liked the issue.
Lastly, to address Cthulhu's remark, I expected a "Fraal" article as well. But, in hindsight, it's pretty clear that Wotc/TSR didn't want to spill the beans about the Fraal's origins because of their connection to the Thaal. Explaining too much about the Fraal's homeworld would have led to giving away many of the Externals' secrets before they had published the Externals ESD. Still, they could have at least explained Fraal culture and society in terms of their great city-ships, I suppose. Perhaps an enterprising contributor to Action Check could undertake such a project and submit it for publication? We'd certainly jump at the chance to showcase it...

Lets see some more of these articles.
And what happened to the magazine. I'm getting desperate.

There's a new reprints issue in the works. The next regular issue of Action Check isn't due out until the end of Februrary. In the meantime, feel free to submit an entry to our "Winter Contest" as described in AC#15's editorial.

These articles are a core part of any StarDrive campaign. Glad to see them reprinted here. Regarding the Fraal, they were given a couple of brief mentions by TSR - in the AD&D 2nd edition Monstrous Compendium Anuual (as a mysterious fantasy race), and in a Dragon article discussing their use in fantasy campaigns. Too bad they didn't write articles about the Fraal in their native setting!

Great detail on the races included, if only the Faal were done as well.

This is pretty phenomenal. I love being able to learn more about the species and their home worlds and colonies, particularly for use in my Star*Drive campaigns.
