Holy Cow Neil! When did you find the time to write this? I've only made a quick read of the adventure, but it looks amazing. I can't wait until I can run it for my gaming group. They love the Oberon system.

Thanks, Glenn. It took quite awhile to write it up. The module languished in the world of "editing" for a long time, too. All told, I think it took me about 5 months on-and-off (November thru March). Jeff and Jim set a deadline of March 15th, so I finally answered the Ides and got it finished for them. Originally, we had planned on releasing it as our annual issue in May, but due to some real-life stuff and some things we're working out with WotC, we held off until now.
Mostly, I just hope there are folks out there that get some use out of this. There's still a few things I would have liked to tweak. I could have added a few more scenes. But, like I told one of our recent contributors to Action Check, sometimes you just have to tell yourself to put it out in front of people. Too many great articles just sit around being polished forever and ever...when they could be out there being used. So, for what it's worth, I hope this gets used. Let me know what you think of it after a full-read.
Oh...and just to let folks know...I have some adventure ideas in mind for Dark Matter and Gamma World, too. I hope to provide at least one full-length adventure module for each campaign setting. After that, I plan to come back to Star*Drive...because it remains my favorite. If anyone would care to collaborate on these projects with me, I'd be happy to bounce a few ideas back and forth.

I'd just like to thank Neil again for his fine work. I hope everyone out there enjoys playing it as much as I enjoyed reading it.

A couple more things, I wanted to say about this particular product:
I need to point out that at least a few of the maps throughout the module drew upon "borrowed elements" from the work of Christopher West, *the* premier cartographer of the Alternity gaming community, IMO. Chris' work has always stayed as true as possible to the original starship images in the Player's Handbook, and I tried to mimic that as much as possible.
In addition, I also need to thank the artists that generously gave us permission to include their images in the final product. Andreas Maaninka did the cover art and I just happened to be lucky enough to quite literally stumble across his website where he had an image named "Twin Moons". I thought this would be perfect for the moons Bauble and Trinket orbiting the planet Leen in the Oberon system, where the adventure takes place.
Also, Tanya Kozik and John Keane provided some of the images that were used for character portraits. Both of them do a super job of creating realistic images while still leaving the appearance that they are hand-drawn as opposed to photo-realism. I thought the blend worked out quite well.
Lastly, Jim and Jeff put a lot of hard work into putting the adventure module into a PDF format so everyone could download. I'm happy to see that it's crossed the 1,000-download threshhold. That in itself is a compliment. The Action Check staff is also interested in hearing your comments about the overall piece, how the adventure runs with your individual gaming groups, etc. Please leave some feedback.

This is Great. Believe it or not, I have a group of charactes right now that are running through an enhanced 'Planet of Darkness' mixed into my Campain. They are dragging their feet in getting off planet at the end of the second adventure. [Defeat and reveal 2nd Void Corp Plot for those that don't know] Oh, and 2 of the characters are Void Corp Employees w/ powerful ally in the Void Corp ranks!! Looks like they are going to get drug into this 'little' adventure of yours and be getting harrassed by Void Corp intermittently on the way through. Good work.

Looks like I'm finally going to get to run this puppy (and nice adventure with a good mix of situations).
