Just to be clear, the conversion has not been authorised by Mongoose Publishing.

I've always liked what I feel to be cleaner statistic blocks in Alternity.
And the Achievement points at the end feels like a nice dessert to end this game meal.

I'd say Alternity stat blocks provide more information to run an encounter and the damage system in particular is more complex, making them bulkier than Traveller equivalents. I've considered using an abbreviated format, though.
APs follow what I'd probably award, myself. If the party gains all of these they will be doing well (particularly, saving both the miners and the shuttleport) after at least four hazardous encounters and success in a wide range of skills. However, if a GM feels it's too much, they could cut it back to 2 AP for rescuing survivors and 1 AP for restoring the city's vital services.

Thank you for the updated version.

Clicking on view/download returned a 404 File Not Found (large bright green text on black background too).

The plus sign in the file name seems to be a problem. I'll try it with a different name.

Download and display are fine now.
Thank you for the ongoing and increasing compilation!

Babylon 5 is a welcome inclusion to your growing document, for conversion to Alternity.

Thanks, early Signs and Portents issues have a few other articles for Babylon 5 d20 that I might work with in one way or another. It was interesting to look at a different d20 flavour.

Thank you for the latest addition of Toxic Secrets for Babylon 5, within less than a month.
Made for another interesting read.

I appreciate the latest addition of 4 more pages of conversion, after the previous April version, focusing on The Fall of Nigella Ramsey for Traveller, from Signs and Portents 62.

Thanks for adding for Ice Station Zebra.
It's a nostalgic perk-up to encounter (sub-)klicks and the Externals again.
Yes, to face up once more to another small plot, in the endless fiendish schemes of the Exeat!

Thank you for extracting the Babylon 5 d20 conversion notes, originally in Between Hammer and Anvil, right to the beginning, and then most lately for adding Drazi Hunt.
A question about the Babylon 5 conversion on page 1:
"A Ranger's Authority
The effects of this class ability are not relevant to this scenario."
Should 'this scenario' be changed into a generic conversion rules for all conversions?
Or just confined to the original Between Hammer and Anvil only?
uncle_jimbo, rating: - November 17, 2011
That's a reasonable question. The note only relates to "Beyond Hammer and Anvil" so far, because I don't think there have been any Ranger classed characters in the other scenarios I've worked on to date.
I should have an update with a few more corrections shortly, so I'll reword this as well.

Noted your touch-up on the Babylon 5 Ranger, your comment on QPT in Drazi Hunt, and your addition of Slingshot Cargo Loader for Zebra, thank you.

Just went through Behind the Scenes added in front, with Babylon 5 conversion rules shifted to the start too.
Thank you again!

Thanks, I've tried to keep campaign-specific conversions before the first notes for an adventure in that campaign, which has meant they moved around a bit. I suppose it would make equal sense and be more stable to put them at the start in a set order.

Back this year, and bigger and better than ever!

Thank you again, Jim!
My last copy of yours was from 2 years ago, and I note you've added on another 6 pages, to a large 134, with Death Station.

That's about right, 2 years since I last updated this.
