I was reading this-

and got to thinking about other possible locations that are quite large, yet unknown to the general population of inhabitants. This does not fit in any of the existing Divisions as Historical covers events much more recent and Cosmological is about space in general, otherwise I would have posted in one of them.

Anyways, this is something to keep in mind when designing new tangents- arrival locations that do not look anything like their surroundings and should confuse the heroes for at least a time. The best thing is for a GM, one could add such a location to anywhere. New lake regions, flattening mountains, changing the height of mountains (and thus their weather and flora/fauna), carving out massive gulfs or bays from the continents, shifting islands north or south (thus altering their weather and colonization patterns) and so much more.
